MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) – Planet Fitness is bringing back its High School Summer Pass program, offering free gym access to teens aged 14 to 19 across the U.S. and Canada.

The program, celebrating its fifth year, runs from June 1 to Aug. 31, allowing teens to work out for free at any of Planet Fitness’ more than 2,700 locations.

Since its inception in 2019, the initiative has waived more than $300 million in membership dues to promote youth health and wellness.

Planet Fitness conducted a nationwide study highlighting that 66% of parents are concerned about their teen’s mental health. The study also found that 90% of teens feel happier after exercising.

Participants will have access to a range of equipment, free fitness training, and teen-specific workout plans. For more details, teens can register at PlanetFitness.com/SummerPass.
