A new compact format offers franchisees a more accessible entry point while retaining Genesis’s core offerings, like Reformer Pilates
Genesis Health and Fitness is introducing a smaller format (750-square-meter) club model as part of a strategy to expand its footprint and lower the barrier to entry for franchisees.

The Australian gym chain, which operates more than 40 locations and serves over 75,000 members, says the more compact layout retains key features, including Reformer Pilates, Coaching Zone group training, and cardio and functional training zones.

“We know every community is different, and so are our franchisees,” Genesis Health and Fitness CEO Ian Jensen-Muir said. “This smaller model gives passionate operators a lower-cost entry point while still providing a premium member experience to the community. It’s the next step in expanding our impact and accessibility without compromise.”

The new model requires an initial investment of $350,000 plus equipment.
