An app should provide content, classes and/or programs that interest and motivate you and encourage you to stick to a healthy exercise routine. For some people, it’s a good idea to start with workouts and movements that you are both familiar and comfortable with before navigating new territory.
Apps focused on nutrition, sleep, medication and activity tracking may be helpful, but they are considered wellness apps—not fitness apps.
