Plant-based recipe kit subscription GRUBBY and Symplicity Foods teamed up to create eight limited-edition dishes that feature fermented vegetable-based meat alternatives. On the menu, there’s a Smash Burger with Carrot Slaw and spicy Hoi Sin Garlic Chilli Noodles, both of which spotlight items from Symplicity’s range that are rich in protein, a source of fiber and low in saturated fat and salt.
Despite an abundance of choice, some consumers are moving away from highly processed meat alternatives, seeking vegetable-rich options instead that celebrate whole ingredients without trying to mimic meat. Beyond health benefits, these meal recipes share carbon footprint labeling so that consumers can confidently choose to purchase products with a lower environmental impact.
