UK pub-goers can now grab Impossible Foods’ vegan chicken in a £1 meal deal at BrewDog – but only for a limited time
BrewDog has teamed up with Impossible Foods to launch a new plant-based menu featuring Impossible ‘chicken’ products in a range of vegan burgers, tacos and loaded fries.
The limited-time BrewDog X Impossible Foods menu is available from 17th February to 31st March.
The highlight is the Impossible ‘Chicken’ Fillet, a plant-based alternative designed to replicate the texture and taste of conventional chicken.
To promote the launch, BrewDog is running a “buy one, get one for £1” deal on the new menu. Customers can access the offer by pre-booking under the “NEW MENU: IMPOSSIBLE (V) BUY ONE GET ONE £1” promotion.
The menu is available at 48 BrewDog locations across the UK.
Impossible Foods products in the UK
Impossible Foods is known for its plant-based meat alternatives, designed to appeal to those who enjoy the taste of meat but want a more sustainable option.
The company has previously launched products such as Impossible “Chicken” Nuggets and its flagship product, the Impossible Burger.
The Impossible “Chicken” Fillet is the latest addition to its UK lineup of products, found in independent retailers and restaurants including Hungry Horse, MEATliquor and Patty & Bun.
The brand states that the fillet is high in protein, contains no dietary cholesterol, and has a lower environmental impact than traditional chicken.
Vegan options at BrewDog
This collaboration is not the first time BrewDog has featured revolutionary vegan chicken on its menu. The pub chain has steadily expanded its vegan offerings over the years, partnering with a sparkling lineup of brands including Temple of Seitan, TiNDLE, and Beyond Meat.
Previous menu items have included plant-based skin-on wings by THIS and jackfruit ‘chicken’ on a sugar cane ‘bone’ by Biff’s Jack Shack.
The bar chain clearly labels its vegan options on menus, making it easier for customers to find plant-based choices.
In addition to food, BrewDog also offers a selection of vegan-friendly beers, including its popular Punk IPA.
