The Prime Roots plant-based deli meats have made their debut from the brand as a series of mycelium-based products perfect for use in a range of sandwiches and recipes alike. The products were developed over the course of seven years of R&D and are crafted using a proprietary whole food fungi protein that’s reported to support muscle maintenance and growth even better than animal-based proteins. The products come in seven plant-based varieties including Cracked Pepper Turkey, Smoked Turkey, Black Forest Ham, Smoked Ham, Cupping Pizza Pepperoni, Salami and Bacon.

Co-Founder Kimberlie Le spoke on the Prime Roots plant-based deli meats saying, “As a new-school deli brand, we’ve always been committed to giving people the flavour and health benefits they expect from their favourite deli classics. We’re thrilled to unveil our upgraded recipes and new packaging that has been refined over years of feedback and that will drive real results.”
